Fallowfield is an area in Manchester which lies around 3 miles south of the city centre. The centre of the area is the crossroad junction of Wilmslow road and Moseley Road/Wilbraham Road. Platt Fields Park also yearly hosts the Mela festival â€“ which is a popular event among the Asian communities of Manchester and which draws crowds from other neighbouring cities.
