Bradford with Beswick

The area is only a 10 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly Station. It is home to the largest Asda in the country. Bradford-with-Beswick is also home to the Etihad Stadium – which Manchester City Football Club rent from the Manchester City Council. Plans for regeneration and investment in the area include Manchester Cityâ€s Sports Village complete with bars and a hotel, and a new Aquatics centre which is due to have a (tram) line running through within the coming years. Bradford-with-Beswick is also home to the Manchester Velodrome and BMX Centre.

Bradford-with-Beswick is an area of Manchester – it is the collective district area of Bradford and Beswick. Both the Ashton Canal and the River Medlock run through Bradford-with-Beswick. As with many districts in East Manchester – Bradford-with-Beswick is historically an economically deprived area – although since the 2002 Commonwealth Games, the area has improved.
