Trafford

Trafford is home to the industrial estate Trafford Park (home to the head office of Kelloggâ€s) and the Trafford Centre – Manchesterâ€s largest shopping centre. The area also houses Manchester United Football Club (Old Trafford), the Imperial War Museum and Lancashire County Cricket Club. Trafford is the only borough in Manchester to be above the weekly average for weekly income – however this may be offset due to the areas of Bowdon and Hale – well known middle/upper class areas of Manchester.

Trafford is a borough of Greater Manchester and has a population of around 212, 000. Trafford includes the towns of Altrincham, Stretford, Sale, Partington, and Urmston. The North and South of the borough is separated by the River Mersey.
